The film has attempted to faithfully reproduce the cosmological environs of the Amazon’s indigenous people; it has respected their narratives, musicalities and pictographic elements, mainly drawing upon those of the Ticuna, Marubu, and Puyanawa tribes. 

From the Amazon jungle, after witnessing the murder of her daughter and other Indians from her tribe, Araci moves to Portugal with her grand daughter, in hope of giving her a brighter future. But life is never as we picture it.
